Here are a few guidelines that keep life going smoothly. Thanks for your support and understanding!

• To schedule a massage appointment with me, simply book online! Select the Book Now button, and then select Massage in the pop up window that appears. (Please note that I cannot book outcalls online at this time. An outcall is a massage appointment where I come to your location. Please instead call 510-268-0443 or email to schedule.)

• Cancellations. You can cancel online up to 24 hours in advance. Please see the link at the end of your confirmation email. If you are unable to give 24 hours notice, please call 510-268-0443 to let me know. Without advance notice, others cannot fill your appointment time, and so 50% of your full payment is due.

• Think You Might Be Getting A Cold? If you are sick, PLEASE CANCEL at any time, free of charge. (This is the one exception to my cancellation policy.) When you are sick, you expose not only me but any number of clients that I see, many of whom are already dealing with painful injuries. Please prevent me from unwittingly playing the role of ‘Typhoid Mary’ by calling 510-268-0443 to cancel. We’ll reschedule later, at your convenience.

• Running Late? If you are unexpectedly running a few minutes late for an appointment, call 510-268-0443. Please leave a message. (I may be with another client).

• No Shows. No shows make me sad! (And sadly, you will have kept someone else from filling your appointment time, and so full payment will be due.)

• Appointment Changes. If you need to change your appointment, please use the link at the end of your confirmation email to cancel and then reschedule. If you are having trouble doing so, call 510-268-0443 or email.

• Payment. I prefer cash, but I’m happy to also accept credit cards and personal checks. Just note that there’s a $25 fee for bounced checks.

• Discounts. Please note that you can use only one discount per session.

• Disabled access. I work in a historic building, which is handicapped accessible. However, my massage space is located on the second floor and there are no elevators. If you are disabled, even temporarily from back pain, I ask that you schedule an outcall instead of an office visit (an outcall is a massage appointment in which I come to your location.) I also ask that you either have a friend assist you on to the massage table, or I’ll be happy to provide massage services to you in a seated position.

• Privacy. Your privacy is important to me! I will never share your personal information with a third party, for any reason.
